Mountain Biking with Mental Health at the Heart

We help people get on a bike, connect with nature and others, and improve their mental and physical wellbeing — one trail at a time.

Whether you’re taking your first ride or getting back on the bike after a tough time, we’re here to support your journey.

Active Recovery Moray

We’re proud to be part of Active Recovery Moray, a local partnership offering free, inclusive mountain biking sessions to support mental wellbeing.

Open to all skill levels — join us for a ride and a chat every Monday in Elgin.

What Our Riders Say

  • Active Recovery Moray MTB sessions have helped me connect socially with new friends, improve my bike skills, and boost my general fitness. It’s just nice to get out and enjoy our country with like-minded people.

  • I first joined the group in early 2024 and was made to feel very welcome although my MTB skills were very limited. Dimitris leads the group and matches the rides with the group on the day extending our limits and becoming more competent without any pressure. I have made some great friends through this group, and the social side has been just as important as the riding. It’s great to get outdoors seeing places you haven’t seen before with a bunch of similar minded people. I try my hardest not to miss these sessions and encourage anyone to come along and give it a go.

  • Since joining the Monday Club in 2024, it’s been a fine change of company — a very social and stress-free experience. I’ve ridden in the Oakwoods for years, but never really thought much about the more challenging trails. Now that I’ve been exposed to many of them, my confidence has grown on those out-of-my-comfort-zone tracks, while still respecting my own limits.
